There is noting preventing a 2 port ATA that is UNLOCKED to home to two
different machines.
In fact I do the same here with a Sipura 2000. one connected to my CNET
box available to CNET, and the other port to a test machine not
accessible by CNET
I think the only limitation to that box is the ability to use one
specific codec on both lines at the same time
The problem comes about with LOCKED Ata's with two ports, such as
Vonage, since the end user has limited or no access to the configurations
