[VoIP] Naive question

Considering the horror stories we've seen here in the past about 
problems getting serviceup initially or back that turned out to be the 
result of obscure router quirks, and broad warnings about particular 
brands or models, the router particularly and also ATA seem like things 
that ought to be tracked to make life simpler for new members.
