John,

Mini-networks are readily available and will fit inside.  If you don't 
need a ringer, that's the most practical solution.  Even if you do want 
a ringer, it avoids the need for a 5-conductor mounting cord.  If you 
want a diagram showing how to wire and mount it I can send you one.
