[VoIP] Good Voip service

Hi all,
I'm going to be installing a phone attached to a Sipura unit in a room
where we don't have a phone jack. I was thinking, rather than rigging up
something to a faraway jack on a PSTN line, since we've already got Ethernet
in that room, why not make it Voip. I have an Asterisk dialplan set up for
seven-digit dialing within our home area code, and eleven-digit dialing
otherwise, with CNET mapped to area code 200. I am currently using Vitelity,
but I've noticed that some of their connections use crappy codecs, even
though I am only allowing ULAW. That probably means the connection to me is
ULAW, but there's another connection further down the chain using a crappy
codec. One thing I like about Vitelity is that it's "Pay as you go," rather
than charging a monthly fee for unlimited, no matter how little I use it.
Does anybody have any recommendations for Voip services that are reliable,
reasonably cheap, etc? Currently, I don't need incoming service, just
outgoing. Thanks.
Jayson
