[VoIP] Asterisk 1.4 Directory Structure

Paul,

In my Asterisk 1.4 setups, I am using standard 8khz, 8 bit, mono .gsm  
and .wav files without any problems -- I didn't have to do anything  
weird to make it work.

Sorry I don't have anything more helpful -- most of my experience  
with Asterisk has been with 1.4 (I like bleeding edge), so I don't  
have much to compare to.
