[VoIP] Status monitoring

Ian I have been following this thread of course and I like the code bookm
you have put together for the issuing of codes on your side of the poond.
I think as there will be at least three of us together this weekend that we
will be doing some additional verbal discussion.

I also wanted to say I hope I didn't offend you, didn't mean to if I did,
with my previous post to you about the ability to hook up electronic
switches.  I only meant I am in agreement with you and others hopok up an
ATA off sonmeone willing to host you and one telset of any kind.  But I
know the discussion was deeper than that as regards actual inteniosn to
build an operating Asterisk tandem with soemthing connected to it or via
it.

Does that make any sense i hjope?

Interesting to see how many working Asterisk Tandems there are in the
US/Canada which are not listed on the /192  page.

I keep any eye on the UK switches - I'm the one with plenty of information
on the old STD(DDD) codes so tend to get involved when some-one is looking
for an 'authentic' old code.

I also been working on a CNET codebook for UK/Irish/New Zealand codes and
numbers - it is a replica of the British Post Office STD Codebook of the
1960's - the early days of long distance dialling here in the UK.  It lives
as a PDF file on the UK website, such that members can download it and
print
it out to have their own copy. It is nearing completion.
