No, it's about connection standards to the PSTN.

No. There is no such thing as a 66-style jack. That is perhaps what the layperson would call a 66-type block with one of several types of jacks attached, but thinking that an object is called something does make it so. The 66 refers to a particular IDC method.

Can you let us know the source? My FCC info does not list an RJ-8. What is the application?
