I've noticed the no audio problem on Alan's system occurs a lot, but have 
also encountered it from time to time on others' systems.  As it turns out, 
he rang me back just as I was hitting "send" on my previous message, and we 
had a nice chat.

As a number of us are running the X100P clone cards without the no audio 
problem occurring that much, if at all, I wonder if Alan's problem is 
related to the version of Asterisk and/or Zaptel driver he is running?
