[VoIP] My Cnet is down, too

If the device is locked, you will be prompted for the password at this point.


This is to prevent customers from resetting ATA's that belong to  
service providers.

If you buy your own ATA you can enable this feature yourself and you  
have to remember the password.  I beleive this is what Greg has done.

I know that we did something like that once and nearly had a dead  
device.  We had to go through our logs of our provisioning software to  
figure out what a previous password was.

If you do it all by hand it's up to you to remember though.
