The problem with T1, as I understand it, is the cost.  Channel banks are 
cheap, the cards to drive them are not.  I couldn't believe the prices I 
was seeing on the voip-supply.com web site for the T1 cards.  I am not 
particularly interested in shelling out several hundred bucks for a card to 
drive T1 bank, no matter how cheaply the bank comes.  Fifty bucks for an 
ATA that does rotary reasonably OK is more to my liking.  Or just staying 
with my SmarT-1/Sipura kludge.  I need only a couple of ports anyway.

I am awaiting word from Voip-Supply as to whether I can will-call an order 
with them, rather than paying for shipping it two miles (yeah, I'm 
cheap).  Once I get an answer I will likely order a VT1005 as well.
