That's consistent with the counter-offer I received. I guess I've
just not decided why I'd really need one of these other than as an
extra play-toy. I've got more stuff right now than I need; I've
loaned a new Digium FXO card to a friend (the FXS module is put
away to protect it from an accident) and also loaned him a 186,
and have another 186 on the shelf (about to be used though), and
a Linksys VoIP phone is in the closet.
Important questions to help me decide: You have the MC3810 working:
Do its FXO and FXS ports support CallerID and CallerID Name? Is
the dialplan capability on the FXS ports as rich as with the 186?
How about 3-way, call waiting, and transfer? Is there a manual
for the current version of the firmware available?
I have until about 4pm Eastern tomorrow to decide; I'll be in a
meeting in Cambridge most of the afternoon though. These are not
moving fast. There are 38 still available, probably not counting
the one that could be mine.
