[VoIP] Caller ID Number

Here's one for the experts:

I'm trying to set a Caller ID number in extensions.conf. For some reason
the caller ID number is set in numerous places. The one in zapata.conf
seems to be the one that works when I dial the SIP phone.

Is it not possible to set it from extensions.conf? There is a CALLERID in
the Globals section but it doesn't seem to matter what's in it.

By the way, the ANI is about 80% working. I am able to pull in the number
from the E&M port on the Cisco 3810 router, pass it to the outgoing call but
can't figure out how to make it appear as a callerid number. (Thus the
question above.)

So far I have to say that the Cisco 3810 is, by far, the most cost effective
way to implement a CNET installation. The sound quality is way ahead of the
Digium cards and, looking on eBay, one can find one for a lot less money.

A tip of the switch cover should go out to John Jones for coming up with it.
