Perhaps you can elaborate on why those with working systems should move
to 1.4.
What is to be gained by this move?
Simply moving to a new release for the sake of a new release isn't
really warranted.
I know that one or two moved up ( or is it down? ) to make use of the
improved support of E&M in Zaptel, but another has solved that with a
Cisco 3810 connected via SIP
One big problem I know of is those who have a working Linux CentOS 3.8
will not be able to make the change, unless improvements in dependencies
have been made since the early release of 1.4
CentOS 4 or even 5 cannot simply be overlaid, and a portion of the group
isn't well versed in Linux and a fresh install.
