[VoIP] Asterisk and Payphones

Greetings all,

I've been working on-and-off on a project to emulate a coin
service line with Asterisk, as I have a collection of single-
slot payphones and no switchgear that will provide coin service.

I'm curious if anyone else would be interested in such a setup.
Is this something anyone else has an interest in?

I have two hardware designs done and will be prototyping at
least one of them as soon as my Mouser order arrives.  I spoke
to Mark Spencer about coin tone detection in Asterisk and while
it hasn't been done, he gave me pointers about how to add it to
the existing DTMF decode logic that I plan to experiment with
once I have the hardware working the way I want.
