http://www.venials.com available on CNET at 1-263-0666.

Great news for sinners nationwide with VOIP!!! Take the pressure out of
confession by logging on to Venials.com - Designed to help unburden guilty
feelings by allowing you to anonymously make your confessions. This is how
it works - call up for free from your VOIP line, make your confession and
unburden your shoulders. Anybody can visit the site, listen to your sin
and vote you "pardoned" or "punished". Instead of one person playing judge
and jury to your fate, Venials.com allows you to voice out your sins to
the mass of everyday sinners just like you - Because lets face it nobody's
perfect!

-----

So when you go to the website, you get to hear the individual confessions,
then vote to pardon or punish. Pretty dopey, especially since, at the
moment, the first one is "I spilt milk on my dad's leather jacket" which is
running 111 to 102 in the "punish" camp. And besides, it's theologically
unsound, because venial sins are (theologically) pardoned with a generally
mild but instructive "punishment". It's only mortal sins, left unrepented,
that are punished with the "hellfire" symbol that appears on the site.
