[VoIP] ENUM Round Robin DNS?

If you got my Speaking Clock - you've got it correct!!

Jon was worried that by having some UK codes accessed in the UK without the
'0' i.e. 8081 that they may clash with area codes for folk dialling into
the UK. i.e. there may have been a UK area code 808 (or 8081) but that was
never the case. Thus +44-8081 is fine

However if we were to have other UK codes dialled such as 151 (Faults) or
192 (Directory Enquiries) which would become +44-151 or +44-192 when sent
to the ENUM server.

They could clash with UK area codes used in the London area.

All London area codes were originally +44-1-XXX thus there could have been
a clash with following area codes

1-511 xxxx Plaistow and Canning Town
1-514 xxxx Ilford
1-515 xxxx Poplar
1-517 xxxx Dagenham
1-518 xxxx Ilford
1-519 xxxx Stratford and Forest Gate

1-920 xxxx City of London (Moorgate)
1-921 xxxx Waterloo
1-922 xxxx Waterloo
1-924 xxxx Battersea
1-925 xxxx Whitehall
1-927 xxxx Bloomsbury / Soho
1-928 xxxx Waterloo
1-929 xxxx City of London (Monument)

I've just tried it and it works fine from here by just dialling 8081 - set
one of my 'local' contexts up to go straight to the ENUM server

exten => _8081,1,Macro(dialcnet,44${EXTEN:0})
exten => _8081,2,Macro(fastbusy)

Executing Macro("IAX2/00648532876-46", "dialcnet|448081") in new stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-46", "E164NETWORKS=std.ckts.info") in
new stack
    -- Executing GotoIf("IAX2/00648532876-46", "0?begin") in new stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-46", "ARG1=+448081") in new stack
    -- Executing NoOp("IAX2/00648532876-46", "dialcnet1 step 4") in new

stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-46", "E164NETWORKS=") in new stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-46", "ENUMCOUNT=2") in new stack
    -- Executing GotoIf("IAX2/00648532876-46", "0?begin") in new stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-46", "ENUMPTR=1") in new stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-46",
"ENUM=iax2:cnetguest at 81.174.170.48/448081") in new stack

However if I do a repeat call virtually straight away, it comes to me and
not Jon's Speaking Clock.

Another call goes to Jon's Clock number if I leave a few minutes between
the calls.
 -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-2", "ARG1=+448081") in new stack
    -- Executing NoOp("IAX2/00648532876-2", "dialcnet1 step 4") in new stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-2", "ENUMNET=std.ckts.info") in new
stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-2", "E164NETWORKS=") in new stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-2", "ENUMCOUNT=2") in new stack
    -- Executing GotoIf("IAX2/00648532876-2", "0?begin") in new stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-2", "ENUMPTR=1") in new stack
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-2",
"ENUM=iax2:cnet at ecmo.dyndns.info/448081") in new stack
    -- Executing GotoIf("IAX2/00648532876-2", "0?continue") in new stack
    -- Executing GotoIf("IAX2/00648532876-2", "0?sipuri") in new stack
    -- Executing GotoIf("IAX2/00648532876-2", "1?iaxuri") in new stack
    -- Goto (macro-dialcnet,s,20)
    -- Executing Set("IAX2/00648532876-2",
"DIALSTR=IAX2/cnet at ecmo.dyndns.info/448081") in new stack

Jon's Clock doesn't appear to be working ! But at least the call is routing
correctly.

Incidentally, my Speaking Clock once called remains 'on line' until the end
of a 60 second cycle. Thus if you call again too soon, the number will give
busy tone. Eventually this will be changed.
