[VoIP] Additional Asterisk Features

Nathan,

Asterisk is the center of my switching universe, tying together my 555 PBX,
home built SxS, Strowger PAX and my manual 506 PBX. It allowed me to tie
together these stand alone systems so that I can hop from one system to
another, as well as utilize the StanaPhone (Stana-In to be exact) service to
allow calls inbound from the PSTN to my switches. The ringdown feature is
built in to *, but documentation on its implementation is sparse.

I use an Adtran Total Access 850 to give me FXS and FXO ports, which is how
I'm tying everything together.

You're only limited by your imagination in terms of what you can do with it.

Lee

Lee,

Do you have this implemented as a feature on another switch (such as an
electromechanical switch), or do you use * exclusively as your phone switch?

Thanks,

Nathan
