No.  A 2500 is a standard 2-wire PSTN set.  There is a special 2504 
4-wire version also.  Since 3500 sets were made for Autovon and Autovon 
was a 4W network, there was no need for a 2-wire-only set hence no 
actual 3500 set. 

4-wire capable 6-button key sets with 12 button dials were 2568 sets.   
4-wire capable 6-button key sets with 16 button dials were 3568 sets.
