Canada and Australia have already done so, and there are proposals in 
California and Illinois.  One question I haven't seen answered, though, 
is whether these bans affect specialty lamps such as those intended for 
chandeliers, not to mention various industrial bulbs. CFs on a 
chandelier would look ridiculous!

Will there be LED replacements for the lamps in cord boards? :o)
