[VoIP] T1 transmission protocol

Mark,

I use Zaptel's TDMoE capability for my ProjectMF
arrangement. I have two extra Ethernet NICs connected
together with a crossover cable to simulate both sides
of a T1 trunk group. I then have Zaptel configured for
SF/MF signalling. This gives me a trunk group of 24
lines controlled by 2600 Hz. supervision with MF
addressing.

The TDMoE protocol is not real T1, as it uses Ethernet
as its physical interface. It is not routable,
although it can be sent through an Ethernet hub or
switch. It will saturate a hub, though!
