Hi all
I had similar issues configuring my CNET * switch. When I installed
centos4.6 i set it too dhcp initially and then set a manual ip. I
never changed my dns server settings and when i changed them from the
local modem to my isp's dns settings it worked fine (as in a dig
naptr lookup)
I seem to be still having issues with enum lookups from within
asterisk so am going to trial centos 5.1
There does not seem to be much info relating to this issue on the web
For the members who are having trouble can you confirm
1. Linux Version
2. DNS Settings
3. Cut of Asterisk installed
That may help us pin down a common setup which breaks enum. It may
also be worthwhile tabulating our versions in a file and putting them
on the CKTS website.
It would be great to lessen the pain for new members if we started a
bit of a wiki on installing CNET systems

that tonight. By all rights I should not have to do that, but the
evidence suggests that the linux box and the new WRT54GS are not
getting along (even though the linux box worked fine with the Westell
327W with it as the DNS server). If you have to hard IP settings,
and debug things when stop working because the provider changed
things (like DNS) around in their network, it kind of defeats the
value of having DHCP (server) running.
