[VoIP] Asterisk Startup

On occasion, for as yet unknown reasons, my asterisk just stops, 
seemingly leaving no clues except some complaint from zaptel.c
restarting without any other changes or reboots and it goes along fine 
for another long random period
Asterisk 1.2.24
Zaptel 1.2.17? I think, as the tor3 driver I require, or later 1,2x 
zaptels require a later version of make that I am ignorant of either 
where to get or how to install on CentOS 3.9 Yum doesn't know about it 
either.
