If you try from my portal - 516-704-8373
Try an internal extension ( recording ) to determine where there may be
a problem,
666-2525 will give you time of day
666-1111 will play some interesting sounds, then a welcome recording,
then the line number, then a couple of MP3 recordings
See if that works well.
From my Vonage line - to my portal - there is a noticeable roll off of
the high frequencies compared to my local channel bank connection, but
certainly no packet loss. With Vonage outbound and Stanaphone inbound at
least this afternoon there seems to be plenty of bandwidth to spare.
It would be interesting to determine where your calls are failing
Perhaps your LD carrier is the real culprit?
